Gong Xi Fa Cai on Dragon Year
Gong Xi Fa Cai on dragon year is happening this year 2012, all of chinese tribes really bussy on this day preparing of Chinese new year that do on January 23, 2012. On every shops, restaurant, and on the streets many blessing word of Gong Xi Fa Cai, the special tradition to enter imlek new year. As the traditional Tionghoa, this year is 2.653 years old. Every year on chinese have name and this year is called as the year of water dragon, that is merged after 60 years at once.
Every year have symbol by the animal, zodiac shio to represent of year, month and time. Basically 12 kind of animals is draw about 12 branches of earth and 10 year branches as planets in the universe. Then all shio is combine with nature elements like steel, water, wood, soil, and fire that form a 60 years period.
In Indonesia shio has Hokkian dialek use, named Sheshio. The twelve shio included such as rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, goat, monkey, chicken, dog, and pig.
