Yahoo Terminate 2000 Employees
To save the future of the company, Yahoo! Finally took option to terminate of their 2,000 employees of a total of 14 100 employees currently.
The decisions made today are an important step to confirm of new Yahoo!: smaller, more agile, more profitable, and better equipped to innovate as fast as the needs of consumers and the industry, said Scott Thompson, the CEO of Yahoo!.
Streamlining the employee is said to save operating costs by 375 million dollars per year. Last year, Yahoo! revenue is estimated at between 125 million and 145 million dollars before taxes.
